I didn't have the same error, but something similar. For me a fresh mysql
database cleared the issue. Are you using mysql? You have a whole bunch of
configuration parameters that I've not seen before - Is DSPAM installed from a
package or from source?

I am indeed using mysql, but I do not feel like it is the issue here, all other
mysql dependent email function are running fine, only messages being released
from quarantine have a badly modified localpart.
dspam is installed from debian repos:
