Ah yes, that's the main problem with mail forwarding setups: the headers
are never forwarded (unless you forward as attachment, which is rarely
the default in any mua).

I retrain using dovecot-antispam (training to moving messages to/from
the Spam folder in the imap client. That way you have the original
message at hand, so the header is available.
