Dear Berger Due to your email I had a more detailed look at the top of dspamc.c and dspam.c and noticed some changes so I did a crude hack and changed dspamc.c and now dspamc works!! In my original email I suspected that dspamc.c had not been updated.
Using the configure option --disable-trusted-user-security that you mentioned on the original 3.8.0 also gets dspamc to work. I have attached my patch file.
