Yes. I'd like to see better installation / setup automation.
Removal of the compile time configuration options and make them runtime
configurable would go a long way towards distribution standardisation. Thats
the best way to automate installation, install it from your distro's package
system, but when it comes to a compile time configuration option that you've
no clue how the packager configured... well, that forces you down the heavy
installation route instead of the easy package installation route.
