LOL! I'm just trying to help you sell 'em Gary. They're well
produced, and for those of us that a trip to Dayton wasn't possible,
they're definitely the "next best thing"!

If the community wants good quality videos like this, we need to
support anyone's efforts to bring them.

Why am I saying all this nice stuff? We BEGGED someone... anyone...
to record (even just as a home movie) some of the early IRLP
conventions, and no one ever did. There was information "lost" in
those early years... presenters didn't post their presentations, no
videos were shot, etc.

The only way it works is someone like yourself, getting a few bucks a
DVD (hopefully you don't lose money on this whole thing, but I've seen
lots of ham businesses do that as a labor of love, while they made
their "real money" elsewhere)... making it worthwhile for you to go
and do it.

I was expecting a good video, but not a multi-camera, professionally
edited video where even the presentations on the screen were easy to
read. (Heck, I can ALMOST read Robin's tiny font on his "eye test"
portion on a big enough TV. You've got nice gear there, Gary!)

Certainly don't think the videos will ever be the "demise" of things
like Dayton, but it suuuure is nice to watch them in the living room
in the comfy chair versus spending over $500 to fly to Dayton from here!

Anyway, I'll stop "gushing" now, but I really enjoyed watching the DVD
on the HDTV in the living room -- I could rewind and replay stuff, you
know... all the usual perks of watching media.
