North Texas D*STAR Users: I am once again working on updating the D*STAR Frequency Plan for our Denton County Amateur Radio Operators. I've decided that in addition to adding the number of other repeaters that have sprung up in the area to also include simplex frequencies. Our primary use for the simplex frequencies of course would be in the event of repeater failure or just being outside the coverage area. I know that I don't need to explain that to any of you out there. [;)]
I would like to hear from other users in the North Central Texas Region (COG or nearby). I would like to attempt coordination with other groups so that we can have similar frequencies to use and of course add a few others if needed to avoid congestion if we are working a large scale event. I am also interested in hearing about National D*STAR Simplex Frequencies similar to the 146.520 and 446.000 for Analog FM. Thank you for your assistance in this project!
