Looks like I entered a wrong number for that software the correct nomenclature 
is RS92 rather than RS82

Actually you can with the 91 software.

Once connected, load a new file. Then you have to answer the three prompts, 
saying that you are going to 
overwrite and to not save it.

If it is like the RS91 software, then no. But you let it read, then go
to the file menu, select the file you want to load and it will program
the radio.
