I have an ID-800 and a 2820. I've not noticed any transmit audio
problems on either one. However on receive on the ID-800, I can
actually hear the slow speed data coming out.

Whenever slow speed data comes out the RS232 port on the ID-800 I can
hear it in the speaker. It kinda sounds like an impact printer
running off in the distance somewhere. I've not noticed this same
probablem with my IC-91AD or my 2820 ... but it's defiantly there on
my ID-800.
