I use a Mirage BD-35 Amp with my IC-92AD. One good thing about it - it auto detects which band (UHF or VHF) you are using so you don't need to remember to turn a switch. It stays connected to the coax and only amplifies if you turn it on. 73 Hank - KI4UMX
