Had mine go blank while standing next to a police officer during a public safety event. He was responding to a call on his radio. I had my radio in my hand and he had his on his belt with speaker mic. Radio were close, but not as close as the YouTube video. Never had any other radio do this for me. Nice to know I cannot rely on this radio for any public service communications. I also had a problem where the unit would not power up. Then an hour later it worked (and still seems to work) again. Go figure.
