Individual Callsign Routing Update
As we quickly approach the launch of the first D-STAR contest, I would
like to announce a few changes that will have a positive impact to those
who participate.
This past week, the JARL and K5TIT administration group, along with the
support of ICOM, installed a patch to add a major enhancement to the
global gateway! This patch allows the Individual callsign routing is
now enabled for the Japanese D-STAR Gateway system.
While the JARL systems are not on G2, there is a major G2 features that
works on both sides of the gateway. Please note, as this is a patch to
connect G1 and G2 systems, the delay in updating the network on zone or
band changes is longer than what those who are on G2 are used to.
