Also does this make it so you are heard on any of the systems that might be linked to the repeater you select, or is this just for local call on that repeater? I have also noticed that if you keep pushing the band button you get differant other options which I did read the manual but it's confusing to me. Also once you go to DR Mode, Select a repeater, long press the UR button, select GRP UR, then select CQCQCQ, does the radio stay in this mode, even if you select another repeater or do you have to do this everytime you select a differant repeater.
One last thing Sorry, when you select CQCQCQ in the last step do you leave the display there or do you go back to the previous screen then transmit?? Sorry for all the questions but i've been working on the DR Mode for sometime now and so far can not get it to work, I can talk local but not across any gateways that might be linked. Also the comment you mentioned here, how can I tell the differance?? "Don't get confused with CQCQCQ in GRP CQ which does not allow you to set RPT2." Thanks Larry L Duncan KC4CGY
