Hello everyone. I've got a Garmin PC-18 serial GPS that I have successfully connected to my ID-800. I've noticed that my station has not updated on aprs.fi for 8 days even though I have been beaconing.
Its possible that something at the gateway is messed up but I thought I would double check my settings first. Using the CS-D800 program I have my GPS control mode set to "RMC,GGA". Is this correct? Looking at the manual it doesn't explain what each of the sentences is used for. Thanks. -- Stephen Atkins VE6CPU
