Hi, I have an 880H with a GPS attached. I have been successful at sending D-APRS information with it and tracking on the Internet has been FB (this is using the DVA, I.E. GPS-A, mode). However, I have understood that using this mode will not allow other radio users to see my GPS information.
My reading of my 880 manual does not address this directly (at least that I can see), so I am curious. Does anyone have any experience with this and is this truly the case? Thanks in advance and 73, Robert - N4IJS
