At the end of the day all users are transmitting rf, either directly then to internet, or with a dongle; internet then to rf. Long time users of dstar forget these biased attitudes and just enjoy the qso with hams. Anyone can use skype etc, but only hams are on dstar. A few of us (mixture of dvaps, dvdongle and transceiver users) regularly get on REF014 C on weekends to run HF reports and HF skeds...; good fun! vk4tux
