All I can say is when I suggested to the other D-STAR users in the area that we use 145.670 as a simplex, I was told that the NASA ARC uses 145.665 to rebroadcast NASA TV and we had to stay clear. I have no official notification. I suppose it could be a gentlemen's agreement locally. I will inquire about it more before making any further comments.

Protected by what? Dstar is half the bandwidth that 15Khz channel uses.
Please explain more, I am curious, And you can off list that if you so choose. The only interference would be THEM, not D-Star transmissions...
