Thanks to all for the help. I am afraid Darren is probably right with his suggestion after reading his link to the older message. I was able to contact a 2820 owner locally and I will meet up with him this weekend and do the mic swap. I am anticipating ordering another mic though. I will post my findings as soon as I confirm.
