My final notes on the replacement mic. The good news: The IC-133 version(S)works exactly the same as version (V. The only difference is the key pad readout itself. So I swapped the pads out.
The good(er) news: The total cost was $35 on ebay. It's to bad I had to replace it to begin with, but it was a quick, easy and the cheapest fix.
