Friends rebuilt their gateway computer due to a HD crash. While advising them, I didn't mention that so far as I know, G2 only runs on 32 bit Centos. Once I tried building it on a 64 bit version, but dsipsvd would not run because postgres was not happy with something. I thought little and remembered less. Anyway, I'm looking at their gateway which will not start dsipsvd. There wasn't anything in the system log or in dsipsvd.log, but by starting services one at a time, I came up with:
[r...@ke5rcs dsipsvd]# ./dsipsvd ./dsipsvd: error while loading shared libraries: libpq.so.5: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64 Then I remembered my own problems experimenting in the past, and this looks like the same error I had gotten. I wonder if there is anyway to save this, or if the sensible thing is to do a 32 bit Centos install and go through the steps again? TIA. 73--John
