Is it as simple as each stored standard memory takes state of the active
callsigns, and writes those to memory along with the frequency data?
Hi, Jeff
Three of the call sign fields - Your (UR), RPT1 and RPT2 - are stored in
the standard memories, just like frequency, offset, tone, etc. One field -
MY - stays put until you change it manually. This makes sense. If someone
else uses your radio and puts their call sign in the MY field, they want it
to stick there as they change between memories.
I believe this is "universal" including DR Mode on the 80/880.
