[dubailug] Vi vs Emacs

I am really not able to understand the difference between vi & Emacs. I am not insterested in seeing this thread as ground for argument between Vi & Emacs fans, because the net is already filled with that. I just want to know their functional difference.

PS: I could not resist the temptation to try out the HTML compose beta
