I have used IBMs (about 3) running SuSE linux for 3 years and have
had no problems with them. SuSE Linux, prior to its buy out by Novell
standardised on IBM as their prefered laptop, according to evey member
of staff I have ever met. I also have an apple mac power book, which
runs open SuSE just as well. The mac mini also works just fine.
Red Hat have announced that they shall have 100% support for the new
apple intel mac book pros as well.
