There isn't one notebook or another which is 'best'.  'Best' is a 
concept that only exists in the computer shops in Bur Dubai.  In the 
real world there are always trade offs...

Typically you'll find that the very latest, bleeding edge laptops will 
not be so well supported by Linux, whilst slightly older models will be 
better supported.  For example, your wireless cared may work, but 
Bluetooth may not, or the graphics card will do basic graphics without 
any trouble, but 3D won't work.

The best thing to do is to work out what you need and then match the 
notebook with that functionality to your budget.
