Sure it does.. it works on a tap/tun interface.. as does qemu so you can
allocate as many of them as
you like..
qemu also has a wicked -user-net mode where it sets up it's own virtual nat
system and requires only
user privs to get packets out.. no icmp in user mode though, but tcp and udp
work fine.
