Hey Guys i have the inside scoop on this one. GPS migration from
Linux was due to Microsoft FUD. GPS don't have a dedicated IT staff,
and use a local dubai based IT support company located in the Sultan
Business Centre... who's name I shall not divulge at this point.
Anyway this company hates, linux, and when they end up in a bidding
war against Linux, which they cannot win, they tell the client huge
amounts of lies and BS in order to ensure that they take the path of
least resistance... I.e. Microsoft. The company suddenly becomes
scared of migrating to a "geeky operating system, with little to no
software / vendor support" I have now heard this speech from two
different companies whom I have migrated to linux / BSD mail servers,
and both of which were told the same story by the same IT company.

The sad reality, is that if you are a company, and solely rely on one
organisation for your IT support you only ever hear one side of the
story, and if you are dealing with a Microsoft only shop then the side
of they story that you hear will not be one of vendor neutrality and
open source.
