Agree with you on this Dan. And this is exactly the BS I got sick off that prompted me to participate (abet a very small one) in a OSS firm that works SOLELY with OSS infra and apps bits. What I like about them is that they deliver the support services behind the products they deliver very professionally (end of sales pitch!!).
