Hi, Where (which ip address) are your services (ssh, mail and etc) hosted? As you may know this kind of problem "No route to host" is related to IP layer. So, if you can ping 192.168.0.1 successfully, you are probably connecting a different ip address to access your services.
Take into account when you connect to your pptp server you get a local ip address in private network of that server and you won't be able to ping outside world else through an specific route/nat on your define gateway.
