Hi,

I figured this little gem out.

Rather than configuring a standard IMAP server and specifiying to keep a local
copy, you have to define the server as a disconnected IMAP right at the very
beginning..... counter intuitive......

Now that I can cache my IMAP server, KMail insists on scanning the ENTIRE IMAP
tree for new messages.

Any ideas on how to stop this behaviour?

thanks

Sean
(who might move to Evolution, or back to Seamonkey)
