If I play Tidal on my desktop it says it's playing in HIFI, their FLAC. But if I play the same cut through the receiver into my stereo, the controller says it's at the 256 mp3. I made sure in the controller to set the Tidal quality to FLAC. In the past, the controller has always correctly indicated FLAC when a FLAC is playing. Same with the LMS on my desktop: it's saying mp3, when before it would always correctly indicate FLAC if a FLAC was playing.
An additional wrinkle: sometimes it will correctly say FLAC, then the next cut it will say mp3. Since when I explore music I like to see what's in FLAC or not, I'd like to get the correct designations back. Help appreciated.
