The receiver is not recognized by the router, neither on WIFI nor on eithernet. After power up (and also after pushing the button for +5 seconds) it keeps blinking, mainly red but once in a while yelllow for a moment,
Red blinking is "awaiting setup". You'd need to use a Controller or the "Net::UDAP" script to configure its network settings. See

I also tried the udap console method but it would not find the player so no success there.
Ok, that would explain why you'd sometimes get to blue - which means that at that point at least it was connected to a network, but didn't find LMS.
You should give more detailed information about what you're doing with the script, what you got in response etc. There are people who've successfully set up a Receiver using that tool (I haven't used it yet).
