Hi Dmitry,

I’m afraid I don’t know. Maybe someone else can answer?

A bit of background: The “sequential” models are quite old and have not
recently (over several years) been actively developed (only small fixes). The
reason is that
since DuMux 3.0 the “standard" model (what you called implicit method) actually
don’t care if it’s implicit Euler or explicit Euler or sequential.
You can also setup an IMPES scheme in the “new” way of doing things.
Unfortunately, none of the developers had time so far to port the old code to
the new way.
This is why we kept it around. But there are less and less people that can help
with the old stuff (it’s basically an entirely different code, just some parts
are shared).
I hope someone will find the time at some point.

Best wishes and I hope someone else can answer your question.

Timo
