Dear Gergely,

as far as I see it, this should not be possible because the problem's neumann() function is actually called from the local residual because the result of computeFlux() is not defined on Neumann boundary faces.

Instead of evaluating computeFlux(), the local residual requests the user to substitute the flux term with the Neumann boundary condition values for that face.

Are you trying to achieve some sort of outflow boundary condition? This you could do manually as shown, for instance, in test/porousmediumflow/1pnc/implicit/1p2c/isothermal (as far as I know).

Best wishes,
Dennis

Dear Dumux community,

is it possible to call dumux/porousmediumflow/compositional/localresidual.hh/computeFlux in a 2p2c implicit box problem's neumann function in Dumux 3.1?

Many thanks! Best regards,
Gergely Schmidt
