do you get the same error if you try to run the simulation locally on
your computer, using e.g. only two cores?

I tried also to actualize all versions, but the problem remains.
I did the following commands:
srun -n 6 --pty /bin/bash
srun mpirun -n 6 REMEDIATION_3D_cake
