in any case, I would recommend to move to DuMux 3.0 or newer. You can use the property system without macros by now, which might also help the Eclipse IDE. There are no additional files you could include. With Eclipse, I see no way to achieve more. Clangd could be useful, but as far as I know it is not supported in Eclipse's CDT.
