Hi Fabian,
the installscript will install the latest release (at the time of
downloading the script), in this case 3.8.
The default installation attempts to setup python bindings (calling some
DUNE/DuMux functionality from Python) but this requires pip and Python
libraries (see warnings in installdumux.log if you want to set them up).
If they are not available, the installation is supposed to still work,
but if you don't need the Python bindings you can deactivate them in the
dumux/cmake.opts file by uncommenting the following line:
DUMUX_ENABLE_PYTHON_BINDINGS=""
To rerun the configuration you can execute the command
./dune-common/bin/dunecontrol --opts=dumux/cmake.opts all
in the directory "dumux" that was created by the installation script and
contains "dune-common" and other directories.

I am trying to install Dumux on my laptop (Ubuntu 20.04), and
appeared the error "The command ./dune-common/bin/dunecontrol
