I just installed OS 9.0.4 on my 2400c/Newer 240/80MB RAM. So far no crashes after several hours of testing out many apps. All the apps seem to work fine, and purely qualitatively it seems about the same temp as before. With virtual memory on it takes up 16.7 MB RAM. Only one problem. I am using the Global Village 56K/10BT combo PC card. I installed the OS9 updater from their website, and the modem works fine. However, the ethernet is spotty. Actually, I've gotten it to work only once, after disabling the "Apple Enet" extension. Although it has never worked again. I knew it worked when I saw the little light go on in my ethernet hub and I could see my AppleTalk/Ethernet printer in the chooser. Without changing anything, I no longer get either signal after restarts.
