Try turning off Appletalk and filesharing and virtual memory before you
reboot with the RAM disk. The settings are retained in PRAM, I think.
Also, the note about saving the RAM disk keeping files open is likely a
problem, too.
BTW, my Desktop Mac doesn't have an option to save the RAM disk on
shutdown, but my 2300c does. Why?
