Is the RAM disk the upper-most drive icon on your desktop? If not, it
actually started from the hard disk. As someone else pointed out, RAM disks
can be used as the sole working disk in your Duo. I too have formatted
and installed from scratch over a Localtalk connection using only a RAM disk
on my Duo. I have also used Disk First Aid to repair my hard disk filesystem
after rebooting to a RAM disk. If you're certain that you are indeed running
from the RAM disk, check File Sharing, Appletalk, Virtual Memory, etc.
