Good morning, I just received my Duo 280c and am interested in having it boot from the Apple RamDisk. I have 24MB of real Ram. I setup the RamDisk and checked the save box, copied the System and Finder to the RamDisk and restarted........it failed to boot because the ApperanceLib was missing......I searched for this Lib and it was not present on the hard drive ?????.......so after getting it going, I copied only the System to the RamDisk and received another error......as it was late I stopped amd am now asking you all.....could this be a System Enabler issue ?.....I have System 8.1, how do I tell which Enabler I have ?.....do both the System and Finder need to be on the RamDisk, or just the System ? I know on later Systems the objectsupportlib causes problems, this file is on my Duo, should it be deleted from System 8.1 ? Thanks........JWS. Jim Scolman AMS Services, Inc. We have one that is dead and won't boot. When you push the reset button the first time, it will make a single faint click, then nothing. The second time it is pushed, it will light up the green light on top of the screen. Pushing it again, the light will turn off and the clicking sound will be repeated. We are in Phoenix. If you think you can help us fix it, please let us know. Thanks Darryl Tang Yoshi's 602 955 1950 ----------------- End Forwarded Message ----------------- ---- We live only to discover beauty.
