Do you have a disk tools file on the 8.1 CD? If you do, copy the system files from
the Disk Tools Disk 1 to a RAM disk. I don't have my 280c or 8.1 CD with me now so I
am writing from memory. I have a nice simple set-up to start up my 280c from a RAM
disk, but I can't remember which system I built it from. If you have more trouble, I
could pack it up, stuffit, and send it to you.
Good luck and let me know,
Andrew

<< Hi, what is the best way to setup a RAMDisk to boot with the 8.1 System ? I
have researched and tried several but I still get errors and it won't boot.
I have the 8.1 CD, how would I make a boot or startup diskette in case of
problems ? Thanks.......JWS.
