Good morning,Andrew.....thanks, I was able to make a System 8.1 boot disk,
but was not able to make the RAM Disk bootable on my Duo.......could there
be enough difference between Sys 8.0 and 8.1 to cause a problem? I want to
use HyperCard on my Duo.....I have a set of the v2.02 disks but the
Installer Script is bad, when I just copy the HyperCard files to the
Duo......it throws a Type 1 or 2 error. Do you know of a source or site I
can get a fresh copy of HyperCard or the Installer Script?
Thanks.......JWS.

Do you have a disk tools file on the 8.1 CD? If you do, copy the system
files from the Disk Tools Disk 1 to a RAM disk. I don't have my 280c or 8.1
CD with me now so I am writing from memory. I have a nice simple set-up to
start up my 280c from a RAM disk, but I can't remember which system I built
it from. If you have more trouble, I could pack it up, stuffit, and send it
to you.
Good luck and let me know,
Andrew

<< Hi, what is the best way to setup a RAMDisk to boot with the 8.1 System ?
I
have researched and tried several but I still get errors and it won't boot.
I have the 8.1 CD, how would I make a boot or startup diskette in case of
problems ? Thanks.......JWS.
