I have successfully cleaned the keyboard of a 280 and 2300C and managed
to mess up a keyboard of a 230 by putting it into perpetual CAPS LOCK
mode when cleaning. Unresponsive/dead keyboards came to life - at least
in the first two instances. I have no experience of dead trackballs
though. The process is pretty straightforward, and I can send
instructions if that would be a help.
Please email me directly.
