You may have the GEO and not the express! I use the internal for travel,
checking email etc...
At home my doc is connected to DSL. (yes it works "freezes sometimes"
although not as good as the Ibook)

Subject: [Duo2400] modem opinions please
Installed Apple Telecom and suddenly all is well. Only, I can achieve a
19.2 connection to AOL and I thought the Apple Express Modem in the Duos was
limited to 14.4. <walks about scratching head> Whatever. I'll just take
what I've got.
*End story mode*
So, the trade off here is that I've got my internal modem running up to 19.2
and I've also got a GV Teleport 33.6 external that I inherited. It runs off
the serial port (i.e., there's no ADB power used, just the serial plug is
it) and is surprisingly light, but it does take up volume.
My question to the list is: Where have others come down in this sort of
trade off, and why?
Thanks.
- Eric.
