Tim,

I have 3 power adapters for my 2400. One of them has an intermitent
cable and only works if I bend it a certain way, so I keep a rubber band
around it and don't move it. For about a year, I've noticed that my
powerbook flickers only when using this broken power adapter. But
lately, I haven't noticed it at all.

Next time it flickers, I suggest you pull the AC adapter plug in and out
of your powerbook for comparison. Do you see exactly the same flicker?
If so, maybe the power connector or solder on the Power/I/O board in your
powerbook is intermittent.

Jerry
