I just got back from a trip to Battery Clinic (www.batteryclinic.com) which has a store in my area (Augusta, GA). They say they will rebuild my Duo Type 3 battery with the newer 2150 mAh cells (the Apple Type 3 batts come with 1600 mAh cells) for $60. They also said they could do parameter batteries. I gave them one of my batteries so in 2 weeks I should know how well it goes. Does anyone know if Type 1 and 2 batts can be rebuilt with the better cells ?
