Hi Tom!

I'll try what you suggest. My Duo has also only the LED in the top of the
screen casing turning on and off. When I press the reset key on the back,
about 30 seconds, the light very slowly blinks. Then, after a minute, when I
depress the reset key, the light turns on solid. It turns off if I press the
reset key again, or the power key. So, I know there is still something going
on.

But, I'll try what you suggest. I'm leaving in a few hour for a trip, so I
will let it powerless for a few hours and will see...
