Hey gang,

My 2300c had been in pristine condition until one day, my sister's dog ran
full steam through the power cable, yanking the power port off the solder
contact. I've been living using it permanently mini-docked, but have been
considering trading it in so I took apart my 2300c using PDF service
manuals (thanks duolist people). Using the grouding strap, I removed the
power port, reshaped the contacts (one broke off, had to repair it) and
resoldered it to the board. It seems to work, but now my trackpad doesn't
respond! Any suggestions?

ps, I would like to get a replacement power terminal port if anyone has a
dead board hanging around.

thanks,

Derek
