I have been cleaning a few more keyboards and I was wondering if anyone else had the same experiences as I have. I now have 2 keyboards thats are not fully functional. When I examine the upper mylar layer, Inotice that the keys that do not work are all in a series, connected to _one_ trace. That can hardly be a coincidence. I clean the trace, but to no avail. Has anyone else pegged the non-functioning to the upper trace only ? Maybe its the upper trace that is the only part that can fail, but I cant figure out why.
