If anyone out there has some dead mac LCD screens (usually on the
back of the LCD unit), I would be most interested in finding out the
manufacturers part #.

You see, I have a theory. The big companies that make LCD screens,
would not design new LCD panels if they can help it, so it stands to
reason there might be some PC notebooks that use the same LCD screens
as the Duos do. This would provide a cheaper source or replacement
LCD screens if true.
The only catch is finding out what part # each Duo screen uses.

Here is what I and others have gathered so far:

Duo 270c/280c : Sharp LQ9D041
Duo 2300c : Toshiba LTM09C0352
520c : Sharp CFSTNLM64C12P

thanks,

Mad Dog
