List, I've just received a battery recharger, and have a couple of questions. First, the rating on the back says "24V 1.04A". One of the Duo manual at Apple says that you have to use the only the adapter that was made for it, or something like that. At the office, I have an old adapter with the 1.04A output, but at home, I have the newest, 1.5A one. Can I safely use the recharger with the latest adapter revision? I've tried to check if it was working. I have a BTI Type IV battery right now, so I removed it from my Duo and put it in the recharger. However, nothing happened. There is a little LED that, according to Apple: -No light: Either the recharger is not plugged in, the other battery is being charged (if you have two batteries in the recharger), or the battery is defective. (If the light goes off during recharging, there is a problem with the battery.) -Yellow: The battery is charging. -Green: The battery is fully charged. -Red: The charge does not recognize the type of battery inserted. If you are charging a replacement battery, follow the instructions that came with it. I know the battery isn't bad because it's about 2 weeks new, I almost didn't use it, and it's powering my 2300c just fine. So, does that mean that the recharger is faulty? If it couldn't recognize the type of battery, I should get the red light, right? What do you think? -Laurent. -- ===================================================================== Laurent Daudelin Developer, Multifamily, ESO, Fannie Mae mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Washington, DC, USA ********************** Usual disclaimers apply ********************** "Heuristics are bug ridden by definition.
